JM Search, a leading retained executive search firm serving private equity and venture capital investors, portfolio companies and Fortune 1000s, has added Bill Borkovitz as a principal. Mr. Borkovitz focuses on recruiting key executives in the business services, financial services and technology sectors.
Mr. Borkovitz joins JM Search from Kaplan Partners, a boutique retained executive search firm, where he was a managing director focused on recruiting key executives for private equity portfolio companies and growth-oriented organizations in the financial services and technology industries. Before joining Kaplan Partners in 2008, Mr. Borkovitz was chief operating officer and served on the board of Financial Asset Management Systems, a private equity-backed receivables management company. Prior, he was executive vice president at Radian Guaranty, a provider of mortgage insurance services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Borkovitz held management roles at Fidelity Investments, Caremark Rx, Citibank and Dun & Bradstreet.

Mr. Borkovitz is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and Co-Chair of the ACG M&A East Sponsorship Committee. He periodically consults for the Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), a global consulting firm. Mr. Borkovitz graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in finance.
