Stephen is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s dedicated CFO Practice. He brings nearly 20 years of executive search and professional services experience to his role. Before joining JM Search, Stephen spent 7 years with Spencer Stuart, a global executive search firm where he was a member of the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Services Practice. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, he gained in-depth search experience working in both boutique and large executive recruiting firms, including spending multiple years working for Ascend Executive Search and Korn/Ferry International. Stephen began his recruiting career at Gateway Search Associates, a firm specializing in the recruitment of accounting, finance, tax, and audit professionals.
Stephen received his B.S. in Accounting from Lehigh University. Upon graduating from college, he began working for Deloitte’s Audit and Assurance practice. Stephen worked with the firm for 4 years post-graduation, before making the career transition into recruiting.
Stephen and his wife live in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. When not working, he is actively involved in local non-profit organizations. Stephen is also an avid endurance athlete and participates in marathons, trail running, and triathlons. Additionally, Stephen enjoys sampling cuisines from around the world and has a passion for cooking.
