Doug McLaughlin

Doug McLaughlin is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Packaging, Paper, and Plastics Practice. Doug brings three decades of experience in talent acquisition, executive recruitment, and human resource leadership. He has effectively utilized his extensive background in packaging and HR to successfully place executives and their direct reports.

Before joining JM Search, Doug worked at Crown Holdings, a Fortune 500 global supplier of packaging products and services. Doug dedicated 30 years to advancing corporate and divisional human resources initiatives. Throughout his career, he held progressively responsible roles, including talent acquisition, people development, and compensation. Notably, he served as the head of HR for Crown’s largest business unit, Beverage Packaging, during a significant growth period. He also managed the Closures, Aerosol, and Promotional Packaging (CAPP) Division. In his final role, he led Human Resources for Crown North America.

Doug holds a B.A. in Communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Eastern University. He was certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is an active member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Outside of work, Doug is an avid golfer and enjoys running, biking, spending time at the beach, and following Philadelphia sports. He resides in Skippack, Pennsylvania, with his wife and daughter.
