Charles Telep

Charles Telep is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the firm’s Technology Practice. He partners with private equity sponsors, growth-oriented portfolio companies, and enterprise technology organizations to recruit transformational leaders across the technology and human resources landscape. His work spans executive search engagements for technology, digital, product, go-to-market, and HR leadership roles, with a particular focus on helping organizations build scalable leadership teams during periods of growth, transformation, and operational change.

Prior to joining JM Search, Charles spent more than two decades in executive search, talent acquisition, and in-house leadership roles within high-growth and enterprise technology organizations. He held talent acquisition leadership positions at Wayfair, LogMeIn (now GoTo), athenahealth, Indigo, and Forrester Research, where he built and scaled recruiting functions across technology, product, commercial, operations, and corporate leadership teams. Charles also worked in retained executive search at Cooke & White, developing deep experience in leadership assessment, executive recruiting, and client advisory work.

Charles holds an undergraduate degree in U.S. History from Calvin University, where he was a member of the varsity men’s soccer team. He lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with his wife and two sons and spends his free time on the water.
