Alina Lee is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Media, Entertainment & Communications Practice. With 20+ years of executive search experience, she partners with clients to define and attract the innovative C-Suite leadership and teams needed to navigate change and build for the future. Alina is known for her deep industry relationships, thoughtful counsel, and long-term approach, earning her the trust of both clients and candidates, and is committed to delivering executives who bring the right mix of capabilities and ‘cultural add.’
Prior to joining JM Search, Alina spent five years as a leader within MediaLink’s executive search practice, where she placed transformative talent with clients at Fortune 100, start-up, and high growth companies across media, marketing, advertising, technology, entertainment, and finance. Earlier, she spent 12 years at boutique, media-focused executive search firm BishopPartners, where she managed the research function and led senior-level searches.
Alina earned a B.M. from DePauw University and an M.M. from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. She has served on the Executive Board of the New York Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) where she co-founded and led the highly selective PRIME|access Executive Mentoring Program. Based in NYC, Alina considers Central Park her backyard and enjoys singing, traveling with her family, and recreating standout dishes inspired by her global adventures.
