Brian Dwyer

Brian is a Partner and Co- Practice Leader at JM Search. Brian is focused on partnering with private equity groups and their portfolio companies to build senior leadership teams. Having dedicated his career to private equity as both an investment professional and consultant to private equity portfolio companies, Brian understands the challenges faced by PE-backed businesses and the types of executives who create value in these organizations. He has partnered with JM Search’s top private equity clients to build leadership teams at portfolio companies in the industrial, consumer, and business services sectors, focused on placing CEOs, COOs, and CFOs.

Prior to joining JM Search, Brian was a Principal at CMF Associates, a private equity consulting and executive search firm. He joined CMF from Element Partners, an $800 million private equity firm. Earlier in his career, he was a part of the fixed income and equity trading teams at Morgan Stanley.

Brian earned an MBA from Villanova University and received a B.S. in International Business with minors in Economics and Italian from Saint Joseph’s University. He lives with his wife and two children in Bryn Mawr, PA.
