Brian Waivada

Brian Waivada is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice. Brian brings over 27 years of combined retained executive search and in-house talent acquisition experience to JM Search. He has successfully closed over 450 searches and his private equity placements have been directly involved with over 40 exits, creating over $25BN in enterprise value. Brian has expertise completing searches across a broad range of functions including CEO/GM, CFO/VP Finance and Operating Partners.

Before joining JM, Brian was a Partner at Bespoke Partners, where he led both the CEO and Financial Officer Practices as the firm scaled and ultimately went through a successful sale to private equity. At True Search, he was an early Partner and was instrumental in growing the firm from 30 to 300+ employees. Previously, he led the global talent acquisition arms for McKinsey and BlackRock, and started his early career in private equity executive search at Heidrick & Struggles and Patriarch Partners.

Brian received a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is married with three amazing children and lives in Cedar Knolls, NJ.
