Gerard Dash

Gerard Dash is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the firm’s Technology and Financial Services Practices. He brings over a decade of experience building leadership teams for companies that range from high-growth, PE- & VC-backed businesses to publicly traded, Fortune 500 enterprises. Gerard specializes in placing technology, product, and data leaders for technology, fintech, and financial services companies. He also advises clients on a variety of board, CEO, and other C-level positions. Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, he is a trusted advisor to organizations seeking to build gender- and ethnically diverse leadership teams, with nearly 60% of his placements coming from historically underrepresented groups.

Prior to JM Search, he served as Principal in the Product, Data & Technology and FinTech & Financial Services Practices at True Search, where he led the Atlanta office. Earlier in his career, Gerard spent time at Korn Ferry and Russell Reynolds Associates.

Gerard earned his B.A. in Political Science from Davidson College, where he served as Student Body President. Outside of his search work, Gerard is an avid tennis player, enjoys biking on the BeltLine, and loves exploring Atlanta’s vibrant food scene. He also serves on several boards, including the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation, Jumpstart, and Camp Twin Lakes.
