Gina Barge

Gina is a Principal in the Technology Practice at JM Search, where she specializes in recruiting transformative commercial, general management, and C-suite leaders for consumer technology companies and large-scale enterprises. Known for her strategic instincts and her ability to translate complex career narratives into compelling leadership profiles, Gina partners closely with CEOs, founders, and investors who are navigating inflection points and seeking executives capable of accelerating growth, modernizing organizations, and shaping high-performing teams.

Before joining JM Search, Gina spent more than 15 years leading executive searches across technology, consumer, and professional services sectors. She previously served as a Partner at True Search in the Go-To-Market Practice, and her extensive search experience also includes roles at Caldwell Partners, Heidrick & Struggles, CTPartners, and Korn Ferry International. Over the course of her career, Gina has collaborated with public companies, high-growth venture-backed businesses, and private equity investors to recruit transformational leaders across marketing, sales, product, and general management. Her breadth of experience, combined with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and market behavior, allows her to advise clients with clarity and confidence through complex and competitive hiring environments.

A Chicago native, Gina is also a former journalist, a foundation that sharpened the storytelling skills she brings to every search. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, developing consumer experiences, and building ventures that blend creativity with community. She is also a devoted cat mom to two mischievous Devon Rexes.
