Jen Gomez

Jen Gomez is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Industrial Technology and Consumer Practices. With a career spanning over two decades in retained executive search, Jen plays a pivotal role in the entire recruitment life cycle, demonstrating expertise in client relationship management, needs assessment, search strategy formulation, profile development, research, candidate sourcing, and offer negotiation.

Before joining JM Search, Jen spent a number of years leading senior-level retained search engagements for a lean operations-focused search firm. Prior, she directed recruiting efforts for HBK, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and Oppenheimer Funds, a prominent $200 billion asset management firm. Jen began her search career at Heidrick & Struggles where she ascended to Partner in the Global Financial Services Practice. Over the past several years, she has been instrumental in leading C-suite and senior leadership team engagements in the private equity sector, with a primary focus on industrial and consumer manufacturing and services. Her comprehensive understanding of both sectors stems from her early career roles at Morgan Stanley and Alex Brown & Sons, where she conducted equity research covering various industrial market segments.

Jen is a native New Yorker and now resides in Charleston, South Carolina with her family.
