Kenny Burgess

Kenny Burgess is a Principal in the Private Equity Distribution and Industrial Services Practice at JM Search, where he helps private equity groups and their portfolio companies build senior leadership teams. Based in Philadelphia, Kenny specializes primarily in executive search for manufacturing, industrial services, and distribution companies.

Prior to joining JM Search, Kenny was a senior consultant at Lincoln Financial Group, a Fortune 250 financial company specializing in wealth management and investment product distribution. While at Lincoln, Kenny partnered with over 150 financial planners and their support staff to implement market-leading technology enhancements and tailored practice management strategies that were designed to increase advisor productivity, practice efficiency, and client satisfaction. Before his role as senior consultant, Kenny held wholesale positions within the distribution subsidiary of Lincoln and was a leader in driving sales of Lincoln branded investment products.

Kenny graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Journalism and minor in Communications. He was a varsity level participant on the Lehigh Cross-Country and Track teams. He lives in Center City, Philadelphia with his wife and son and enjoys running, the Philly restaurant scene, and attending sporting events.
