Michael Schuler

Mike Schuler is a Principal in JM Search’s Financial Officers Practice, with a focus on private and private equity-backed businesses. Mike joined JM in 2014, bringing deep experience from within the private equity community, having worked at a multi-strategy global firm for more than a decade. Today, his executive search work is primarily focused on CFOs and senior-level finance leaders, as well as other C-level assignments and operating partner roles.

Prior to joining JM Search, Mike was Vice President of External Affairs at Cerberus Capital Management in New York. He joined Cerberus in 2004 and served in roles spanning business development, marketing, and strategic communications. Earlier in his career, Mike worked for several investment management firms in the Philadelphia area.

Mike and his wife live in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with their son and daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s sporting events, and traveling. Mike earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland.
