Stephanie Etzig

Stephanie Etzig is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Distribution and Services practice. She works with private equity firms to identify c-suite and executive-level talent for their portfolio companies in the industrial and home services sub-sectors. Stephanie has a passion for identifying candidates who bring diverse experience to the organization in support of growth and value-creation objectives.

Before joining JM Search, Stephanie was with PierceGray, a boutique executive search firm that also served private-equity-backed organizations. In this role, Stephanie was a generalist, leading searches across several industries and functional areas. She also led the development of an internal marketing capability, leading branding and standardization, social media, and business development material creation. Stephanie spent her early career with Deloitte Consulting as part of their Consumer Strategy practice.

Stephanie grew up in South Florida and received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida. She received an MBA with a concentration in Managing Organizations from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Stephanie currently lives in Chicago, IL, and serves on the board of Lincoln Park Conservancy. In her free time, she can be found walking her Siberian Husky along the Chicago Lakefront and throughout Lincoln Park, regardless of the weather.
