Laurie Rosenfield is a Partner at JM Search and Co-leads the Firm’s Media, Entertainment & Communications Team which is a pillar of the Technology Practice. As a former operating executive on the content side and most recently as a Chief People Officer, Laurie brings entrepreneurial know-how and experience building best-in-class teams. She’s a trusted partner to CEOs and company boards seeking to align/realign executive teams, accelerate profitable growth, and reaffirm values.

Prior to JM Search, Laurie was the Global Chief People Officer at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, one of the world’s leading global communications companies. Prior to that role, she was CBS Corporation’s first Chief People Officer. Laurie led the HR team with a mandate to rebuild the company’s corporate culture and transform HR into an industry-leading talent service partner adept at strategically anticipating change. Before CBS, Laurie was the Managing Director of the Talent Practice at MediaLink, a strategic digital media advisory firm working in the marketing, advertising, entertainment, and technology sectors. Laurie also previously served as the Global Director, Executive Search at Wolters Kluwer, a $5B revenue global provider of professional information, software solutions, and services in the tax, finance, audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory sectors. Earlier in her career, she rose from story editor to the leader of the NY office of United Artists and 20th Century Fox, building her creative muscle while scouting for content to acquire and develop.

Laurie is an alumna of Dartmouth College. She’s an advisor and mentor to multiple startups and is a member of the board of STRIVE, a leading job training and career development agency. She is on the Advisory Board of Modern Health, a startup providing unique mental health care for employees, and The Forem, a seed-funded career development platform for women and people of color that is addressing barriers to advancement. She has appeared on WPIX-TV as a career advisor and has led interviews on TONE Networks, a professional development and wellbeing platform. Outside of the office, Laurie enjoys both country life and city life and is currently going to the theater whenever possible and trying to learn to enjoy golf. Pickleball has quickly surpassed tennis as her racquet sport of choice.
