Ben Millrood

Ben Millrood is a Partner at JM Search and leads the Firm’s Professional Service Practice. In addition, he is co-leader of the IT Executive Practice. He brings more than 35 years of IT management consulting and leadership experience, delivering solutions to clients ranging from start-up to Fortune 500 enterprises. Ben specializes in placing Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Revenue Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers, Chief Data Officers, Chief Digital Officers, Chief Enterprise Architect and Chief Information Security Officers. He also has done considerable search work on SVP/VP level searches for engineering, AI/ML, data and advanced analytics, architecture, infrastructure, program management. On the Professional Service side Ben specializes in Go-To-Market and highly specialize technical delivery roles. Ben works closely with both private equity/venture capital-backed portfolio companies and public enterprise organizations.

Prior to JM Search, Ben served as an executive leader at Gartner Consulting for more than 16 years where he was most recently Group Vice President of Global Commercial Industries. In this role, Ben directed a $275MM strategy consulting business in a matrixed business structure consisting of more than 95 partners and 550 consulting associates across multiple geographies. He held direct responsibility for industry segments spanning consumer products and retail, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, finance and insurance, high tech and telecom. He also built functional practice digital solutions teams consisting of application and devops modernization, data and advanced analytics infrastructure and operations transformation, cybersecurity, governance and PMO transformation.

Ben received a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Tulane with continuing Masters work in International Relations at the University of Maryland’s school of government and politics. Ben resides in Haverford and is married, with two daughters. He is a committed athlete and enjoys cycling, hiking, swimming and golf. He loves to cook, landscape and enjoys a great Philadelphia team sporting event.
