Bill Borkovitz

Bill Borkovitz is a Partner at JM Search and leads the Firm’s Financial Services and Fintech Practice. Bill brings 25 years of financial services operating experience combined with more than a decade of C-level executive recruiting to the firm. Bill works with private equity firms, banks, credit unions, insurance and specialty finance organizations. He has successfully completed numerous Board, CEO, CFO, CCO, CLO, CMO, Sales, General Counsel, Customer Experience, and Digital Strategy searches. Bill also leads JM Search’s internal training program.

Prior to JM Search, Bill was a Managing Director at Kaplan Partners, a boutique retained executive search firm, where he specialized in recruiting for private equity, banks, credit unions, and other growth oriented financial services businesses. Before joining Kaplan Partners, Bill was Chief Operating Officer and served on the board of Financial Asset Management Systems, a private equity-backed receivables management company. Prior, Bill was Executive Vice President at Radian Guaranty and also held operating executive and management roles at Fidelity Investments, Caremark Rx, Citibank, and Dun and Bradstreet.

Bill is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and former Co-Chair of the M&A East Sponsorship Committee. He periodically consults for the GersonLehrman Group, a global consulting firm. He lives in St. Davids, PA with his wife and has two daughters. He is an avid road bicyclist logging thousands of miles per year.
