Daniel Campbell
Managing Partner
Daniel Campbell is a Managing Partner at JM Search who specializes in working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies. His background, which combines experience in recruiting, investing, and operational leadership, provides him with a sophisticated and complete understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and mindsets of private equity investors and their portfolio company leaders.
Prior to joining JM Search, Daniel served as a buy-side private equity professional, a management team member, and a director of multiple private equity sponsored companies. His roles included CEO of a licensed consumer products manufacturer, post-merger integration manager of a marketing services consolidation backed by GTCR, and private equity associate with Citicorp Venture Capital (CVC) – Latin America.
Daniel graduated with an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. He also earned an HBA and a BA in History from the University of Western Ontario. He has authored case studies distributed by the Harvard Business School and Richard Ivey School of Business, and has developed curriculum for the Intel® College of Manufacturing. Daniel is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He devotes his free time to his family, as well as his interests in ice hockey, golf, and macroeconomics.
