Gaven Day

Gavan Day is a Vice President at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice with a focus on the recruitment of senior level executives for professional services businesses within the technology industry. Gavan brings a nearly 20-year track record of placing hundreds of leaders across the technology professional services industry. He takes pride in understanding the complexities of today’s technology landscape that impacts his clients. With a passion for understanding his client’s ‘Why’, he develops search strategies that ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients and their businesses

Before joining JM Search, Gavan served as Director of Talent Acquisition & Executive Search for Slalom, a $3B global business and technology consulting company. During his seven-year tenure, he partnered closely with executive leadership to develop and execute a wholistic recruitment strategy with a focus on senior leadership roles. Prior, he spent the first half of his career serving in multiple recruiting roles with DHR Global where he led the research and recruitment process, search execution, and candidate development for senior level assignments.

Gavan holds a B.B.A from Southeast Missouri State University. He currently resides in St. Louis, MO with his wife and their two children. His passions include chasing his two boys around the house, travel, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and St. Louis SC.
