Scott Wielar

Scott Wielar is a Partner at JM Search and leads the firm’s commercial/go-to-market team. He focuses on recruiting senior commercial leaders for private and growth equity-backed businesses. He brings a unique blend of experience to his searches as a former C-Suite executive and strategy, commercial and leadership consultant to private equity.

Prior to JM Search, Scott was a Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director at Green Peak Partners, a leadership acceleration firm serving the private equity ecosystem. At Green Peak, he led their Leadership Consulting Practice, as well as provided one-on-one coaching to investors and portfolio company C-Suite executives. Before joining Green Peak, Scott was a Managing Director with Fahrenheit Advisors where he led the firm’s Private Equity GTM Consulting Practice. Scott also held a variety of executive roles in private equity backed companies, including President, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer. In these roles he led several companies through periods of dramatic growth and successful exits. Scott’s early career included management roles with Capital One and Bain & Company.

Scott earned his MBA with high honors from Dartmouth College – Amos Tuck School of Business, and a B.S. in Commerce with Distinction from the University of Virginia. He resides in Dallas, TX.
