Tucker Twitmyer

Tucker Twitmyer is a Principal at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Industrial Technology Practice. Tucker focuses on recruiting CEOs, Presidents, COOs, and CSOs for private equity, family, and sponsor-backed portfolio companies in the manufacturing, industrial, and infrastructure industries.

Tucker’s background, which combines experience as a private equity general partner and several stints in P&L leadership, provides him with a thorough understanding of how to run a highly efficient search process and maximize investment value through sourcing, vetting, and closing great talent.

Before joining JM Search, Tucker was the P&L leader of a sponsor-backed rollup in discrete manufacturing and field services, an operations executive and new business founder at a $20B private credit firm, and an interim management firm’s founder and P&L leader. Tucker’s investing career included ten years as a general partner leading investments in manufacturing (job, discrete, and process), industrial services, and infrastructure.

A former Co-President of the Wharton Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, Tucker graduated with an MBA in Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in Political Science. He devotes his free time to his family, Scouts USA, church, neighborhood, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, and golf.
