Long-time CMO and product leader bolsters firm’s Technology and expanding Go-to-Market practices
February 17, 2022 (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania) — JM Search, a premier retained executive search firm, today announces the hiring of Scott May, Principal, as a key addition to the firm’s rapid expansion of their dedicated team of search experts for Go-to-Market (GTM) and Commercial Executives. May joins a seasoned team of former operating executives and search experts led by Partners, Scott Wielar and Trista McCarthy. To date, the firm has delivered over 1,000 successful GTM and Commercial Leader placements for private equity-backed and public companies, with those numbers accelerating 64% in 2021 over prior years.
As a former Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Product for venture and PE-backed technology businesses, he brings a unique perspective of more than two decades in operational leadership to the firm. Consequently, he will focus on executive placements in the Technology sector, while supporting GTM and Commercial Leaders efforts across the firm’s wide ranging industry practices. Prior to JM Search, May led dramatic growth through executive leadership roles at sponsor-backed companies including GPS Trackit, Hubzu, Promethean, Rali, Loyaltyworks, Silverpop, and MindSpring.
