Elba Pillion

Elba Pillion is a Partner at JM Search and leads the Firm’s Education Technology & Services team. She brings over 20 years of retained executive search experience. She and her team focus on recruiting executives for companies that provide education technology and services in the Early Childhood, K-12, Higher Education/Post-Secondary and Enterprise and Workforce Development end markets She recruits Board Members, CEOs and functional leaders that report to a CEO. ​

Before joining JM Search in 2011, Elba spent 16 years as a Partner and leader with Kenexa, now an IBM company, where she led the insurance and the financial executive search practice serving Fortune 500 and other large-scale public companies. Elba was also a key player in Kenexa’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business. ​

Elba was born and raised in San Juan, PR and speaks Spanish fluently. She received a B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University.
