Elba Pillion

Elba Pillion is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice where she leads the Education Technology & Services Team. She has over 20 years of retained executive search experience. She and her team focus on recruiting executives for companies that provide education technology and services in the Early Childhood, K-12, Higher Education/Post-Secondary, and Enterprise and Workforce Development end markets. She recruits Board Members, CEOs and functional leaders that report to a CEO.

Prior to JM Search, Elba spent 16 years as a Partner and leader with Kenexa, now an IBM company, where she led the insurance and the financial executive search practice serving Fortune 500 and other large-scale public companies. Elba was also a key player in Kenexa’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business.

Elba received a B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University. She was born and raised in San Juan, PR and speaks Spanish fluently.
