Kount Adds Seasoned Industry Executive Lisa Dean as SVP of Sales

Kount Inc., a leading innovator of solutions for fraud and risk management, today announced that Lisa Dean has joined its team as Senior Vice President of Sales. Dean has extensive knowledge working in sales in the payments and fraud industries, previously working at digital identity company ThreatMetrix. Dean will be responsible for worldwide revenue at Kount, leading the company’s sales team as it continues to expand its global footprint.

Prior to joining Kount, Dean was Vice President of Corporate Sales, Americas at ThreatMetrix, where she was responsible for building a new corporate sales team, as well as the Worldwide Inside Sales Leader for WebSphere at IBM. Under her leadership at IBM, the Inside Sales program grew its revenue 91 percent year over year and contributed over $85M in revenue.

Before working at IBM, Dean served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for the Java Division of Actuate Corporation, where she achieved record sales as Vice President of Corporate Sales in North America, successfully implementing a repeatable inside sales business model that played an integral part in the company’s growth from $20 million to $200 million. She has also served in sales management roles at a variety of other technology companies, leading teams in the areas of SaaS, direct and channel sales, as well as sales operations.
